Gymshark Returns Policy UK: 30 Days, Exchanges and Refunds
The Gymshark returns policy for the UK gives you 30 days from delivery to return unworn, unwashed website or app orders, or 30 days from purchase for Gymshark shop purchases. Online returns through the UK portal are free from mainland UK and may lack the swing tag, but the sewn-in care label must stay.
Key facts
- Online orders have 30 days from delivery, or the last delivery for one split order; shop purchases have 30 days from purchase.
- Returning through Gymshark’s own returns process is free from mainland UK; Northern Ireland and other non-mainland charges aren’t published.
- Underwear (even unopened), swimwear, bottles, shakers, personalised items and pop-up/event purchases are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Socks must remain sealed in their original packaging.
- Postal exchanges through the portal are free and size-only, and stock isn’t reserved. For a different colour or product by post, return for a refund and reorder.
- Gymshark’s UK table allows up to 11 working days for transit and processing combined. After processing, PayPal/Clearpay typically take up to 48 hours and cards 3–5 working days.
This guide covers uk.gymshark.com, the app and Gymshark shops. Other sellers have their own rules; browse more UK store return guides.

How Long Do You Have to Return to Gymshark?
Gymshark allows 30 days from delivery online, or purchase in a shop. For split deliveries, the UK terms, clause 6.4 count from the last delivery; separate orders remain separate.
Gymshark doesn’t specify calendar versus working days, whether delivery day counts, cut-off time or weekend rollover. Act a few days early. Comparing sportswear brands? Read Nike’s UK returns rules.
Does “Within 30 Days” Mean Registered or Sent Back?
Gymshark’s pages word it differently: the return instructions say to start within 30 days, while the policy and UK terms, clause 7.2 say goods must be returned within 30 days. Whether dispatch, carrier scan or warehouse arrival counts isn’t published.
Register and post, or hand the goods in at a shop, well inside the window; keep proof of postage. Day-30 registration doesn’t guarantee acceptance. Ask Gymshark support about your order.
Gymshark Christmas Returns 2026: No Extension Published
As of 28 October 2026, Gymshark hadn’t published a 2026 Christmas or Black Friday returns extension. Its 2026-titled sale page and sale FAQs still contain expired previous-season dates. Rely on the standard 30-day rules rather than carrying those dates forward.
What Condition Must Gymshark Returns Be In?
Gymshark requires change-of-mind returns to be unworn, unused, unwashed and in original condition, and inspects them under its returns policy. A workout counts as use; statutory inspection rights are separate.
Include all component parts unless Gymshark caused something to be missing. Pack online returns securely; original packaging generally isn’t required, except for sealed sock packaging.
Can You Return Gymshark Clothes Without the Swing Tag?
Gymshark permits online returns without the paper swing tag, but the sewn-in white care label must remain. The general policy allows missing swing tags and original packaging, while shop-purchase terms, clause 14.1 require intact packaging and labelling: the pages word it differently. Keep everything for shop purchases and ask the shop if anything is missing.
How to Return a Gymshark Order
Use the official instructions, UK portal, store locator or the Contact Us page to choose your route.
Returning by Post Through the UK Returns Portal
Follow the portal’s order-specific instructions:
- Open the UK portal. The portal needs JavaScript; use the UK link in Gymshark’s return instructions.
- Enter your order number, including the #, plus either the delivery postcode or order email, exactly as on your order confirmation.
- Select the items and reasons, then choose a refund or an eligible size exchange; for a refund, pick the credit option the portal offers.
- Choose an offered drop-off method and submit the return. Follow its printed-label or QR-code instructions; don’t assume every method is printerless.
- Pack securely and drop off. Keep proof of postage for tracking enquiries. Check the items and your refund or exchange choice before you send it: Gymshark support can’t change a return once it’s on its way.
Carriers, home collection and label expiry aren’t published; follow the portal’s options.
Taking a Gymshark Online Order to a Shop
Gymshark lets you take a UK online order to any Gymshark shop in the UK; bring the original order number. The locator includes Regent Street, Stratford Westfield and Trafford Centre; check before travelling.
The policy promises immediate processing at Regent Street, which doesn’t mean immediate card settlement. Other shops’ processing times aren’t published. For an online order exchanged in a shop, if the item is available, Gymshark emails an e-gift card usable online or in a Gymshark shop only in the purchase country (the UK). If the item isn’t in stock, the shop can refund the original payment method or issue an e-gift card.
Returning Something You Bought in a Gymshark Shop
Gymshark shop purchases have 30 days from purchase; bring the original receipt or e-receipt and retain packaging and tags. Under clause 14.1, where an original-payment refund isn’t possible, an equivalent gift voucher or same-price exchange is available, subject to stock.
A UK postal route for shop purchases isn’t published; visit a shop or ask support.
Can You Send Several Gymshark Returns in One Parcel?
Not if they’re from different orders. Gymshark says different orders and separately registered returns must travel separately. A return and an exchange from the same order may share one parcel under the parcel-combining rule. Check that everything in the parcel is the Gymshark item you registered: Gymshark says it returns other brands’ goods sent by mistake only at its discretion. If you’ve already combined separate returns, contact support with proof of postage.
Are Gymshark Returns Free?
Yes: Gymshark’s offered returns process is free from mainland UK, according to its instructions. Self-booked postage reimbursement isn’t promised. Northern Ireland and other non-mainland UK charges aren’t published; check the portal before sending.
Gymshark’s pages don’t list a restocking or handling fee. Refunds reflect the discounted price paid; discount-code terms allow a reduction by the offer value if a partial return drops spending below the qualifying threshold.
Gymshark doesn’t say whether an ordinary return refunds your original delivery charge. Statutory cancellation of a whole eligible order includes standard delivery, explained below.
Can You Return to Gymshark Without a Receipt?
Online returns need the order number plus postcode or email; shop hand-ins need the order number. Shop-purchase refunds require the original receipt or e-receipt, although a manager may approve a no-receipt exchange under the shop instructions.
Gift-receipt procedures, card/ID lookup and anonymous gift-recipient refunds aren’t published; ask support. For statutory faulty-goods claims, GOV.UK accepts other purchase evidence such as a bank statement. The London no-proof fault route is separate.
Gymshark Refunds: How Long They Take
Gymshark’s UK table allows up to 11 working days for transit and processing combined; processing is confirmed by email. Your bank or payment provider’s time starts after processing, not when the parcel arrives.
| Stage | What Gymshark says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Return window | 30 days: delivery online, purchase in shops; deadline action unresolved | Policy, instructions |
| Transit and processing | UK: up to 11 working days combined. Warehouse-only time/exact start: Not published. Terms separately promise refund within 14 days of receiving unused goods. Don’t add these allowances | UK table, clause 7.3 |
| Provider posting after processing | Cards/Apple Pay/Google Pay: typically 3–5 working days; PayPal/Clearpay/Afterpay: up to 48 hours; Klarna: up to 7 working days, then plan adjustment; original Gymshark gift card: immediately | Payment-method table |
The policy says up to 7 days after processing, while the instructions say 7 working days. Allow seven working days after the processing email before chasing a card refund; method estimates aren’t a universal maximum.
Other shops’ processing times are Not published. For a statutory cancellation, the legal refund deadline is in the UK law section below.
Where Does Your Gymshark Refund Go?
Gymshark normally refunds the original payment method and doesn’t redirect money to another card or account. Mixed gift-card/card payments refund the gift card first, according to its refund help. Portal credit choices/timing aren’t published.
Example: Assume an eligible £50 order paid £20 by Gymshark gift card and £30 by card, with no delivery charge or discount, and every item returned and accepted. Refund: £20 to gift card, £30 to card; posting dates aren’t predicted.
What to Do If Your Gymshark Refund Hasn’t Arrived
Gymshark’s status help recommends these steps after the country’s return timeframe:
- Check the parcel’s tracking and whether the processing email arrived.
- Check the applicable provider-posting estimate if processing is confirmed.
- Supply support with your order number and proof of postage.
The 11 working days include transit, so don’t start counting them from the day your parcel reaches the warehouse.
Gymshark Exchanges: Postal Swaps Are Size-Only
Gymshark offers free UK postal exchanges for another size of the same item through the returns portal, within 30 days of receipt. For another colour or product, exchange help says to return for a refund and reorder.
Orders originally delivered to a pickup point aren’t eligible for direct exchange; dropping off a return at a pickup point is different. Stock isn’t reserved, and replacements can’t ship before the warehouse scans the return. If stock runs out, Gymshark emails and refunds the original payment method.
Postal replacements use standard delivery to the original address, with no address change or upgrade. Dispatch/transit times aren’t published. A returned exchange showing £0 still refunds at the original price paid.
Buying a scarce replacement separately may be safer if you can fund it while awaiting the refund.
What Gymshark Won’t Take Back
Gymshark lists these change-of-mind exclusions:
| Item | Gymshark’s rule | What you can do instead |
|---|---|---|
| Underwear | Excluded, even unopened | Contact support for a fault |
| Swimwear | Excluded | Raise faults separately |
| Bottles/shakers | Excluded | Use bottle-fault procedure |
| Custom/personalised goods | Excluded | Report faults or misdescription |
| Socks | Only sealed in original packaging | Keep the seal intact |
| Inseparably mixed goods | Excluded by UK terms | Ask support about the issue |
| Pop-up/event purchases | No change-of-mind returns | Support can investigate faults |
The policy’s 60%-or-more discount final-sale rule applies to US/Canada, not UK orders. Statutory rights for faulty goods still apply to excluded items.
Can You Return a Gymshark Sports Bra?
Gymshark’s policy doesn’t specify whether sports bras count as excluded underwear. Ask support before relying on a return or buying multiple sizes.
Faulty, Damaged or Wrong Gymshark Items
Gymshark says to contact support before sending a faulty or damaged item back, and return it only if instructed. Its fault procedure asks for your full name, order email, order number and item description, plus photos showing the fault, whole item, logo and product label.
For bottles, supply photos or a demonstration video. Gymshark excludes compensation for dishwasher- or microwave-caused damage.
The delivery-issue help requests damaged-item reports within seven days, with photos of the item, damage, labels and outer packaging. Wrong-item reports are requested within 14 days, with the order number and photos. These reporting requests aren’t legal cut-offs; a general deadline for later-discovered faults isn’t published. Report promptly.
The UK terms promise free returns for faulty or substantially misdescribed goods returned within 30 days of receipt, unless otherwise stated. Contact support first. London shops accept faulty items with an order number or proof; without proof, a manager may offer an exchange or gift card at current value.
Bought Gymshark From Another Retailer?
Third-party purchases follow the seller’s rules, including for faults. For multi-brand sportswear purchases, consult the JD Sports UK return guide or Sports Direct’s UK returns guide for those purchases. Statutory rights remain separate.
Your Rights Under UK Consumer Law
GOV.UK explains the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: for most eligible online goods, notify cancellation within 14 days after receipt, then return within 14 days of notifying the seller. Under regulation 34, without offered collection, reimbursement is due without undue delay and within 14 days of goods arriving back or earlier proof of sending. Offered collection instead uses the cancellation-notice trigger. Refunds use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, with no reimbursement fee.
Cancelling a whole eligible order includes standard outward delivery, but not a premium uplift. The CMA explains shop-like inspection rights; excessive handling can justify a deduction for reduced value. Cancellation exceptions include personalised goods and qualifying sealed hygiene goods unsealed after delivery; Gymshark’s exclusions don’t define the law.
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 generally gives 30 days to reject faulty or misdescribed goods, usually counted from the day after delivery; within that time, tell the seller you’re rejecting the goods for a refund rather than just posting them back. Later remedies include seller-funded repair or replacement, then price reduction or final rejection where statutory conditions are met, including a failed repair/replacement. Proof can include a bank statement; sound shop purchases have no general statutory change-of-mind refund right.
This guide is based on Gymshark’s public pages. No return was submitted, so the portal’s order-specific options (carriers, credit choices and any non-mainland charge) weren’t visible, and the legislation was checked against official indexed extracts. Read how StoreReturners checks each policy.
How Do Returns Affect Gymshark Loyalty XP and Rewards?
Gymshark deducts XP earned on returned purchases, but you keep a tier newly unlocked by that purchase, according to its loyalty help.
Reward codes used on cancelled or fully returned orders aren’t restored automatically: ask support for a replacement. Expired codes can’t be replaced; partial-return restoration isn’t promised. The loyalty terms publish no longer return window or member-only fee benefit, so free mainland returns aren’t a membership perk.
Gymshark Returns Policy Mistakes That Cost You Money
Avoid these Gymshark returns policy mistakes:
- Registering on day 30 and posting later, despite conflicting deadline wording.
- Cutting out the sewn-in care label with the paper swing tag.
- Expecting a postal colour swap or reserved exchange size.
- Returning part of a discount-code order without checking its spending threshold.
- Combining different orders or separately registered returns in one parcel.
- Posting a faulty item before contacting support, or seeking compensation for dishwasher-damaged bottles.
Gymshark Returns FAQ
Can I return Gymshark underwear or swimwear if it’s still unopened?
Gymshark excludes underwear even unopened, and also excludes swimwear from change-of-mind returns. A genuine fault is separate: contact support rather than treating the ordinary portal route as approval. Statutory cancellation has its own exceptions, including qualifying sealed hygiene goods unsealed after delivery; the retailer’s blanket exclusions don’t define those rights.
Do I need a Gymshark account or a printer to start a return?
Gymshark’s instructions use your order number, including #, plus the delivery postcode or order email; they don’t state an account-login requirement. A printer may be unnecessary if your offered method supplies a QR code. Check the portal’s choices for your order rather than assuming every drop-off supports printerless returns.
Can I return a Gymshark order to a shop if I live in Northern Ireland?
Gymshark permits UK online purchases to go to a Gymshark shop in the same purchase country, with the original order number. Check the locator and chosen shop before travelling. For a postal return from Northern Ireland, charges aren’t published in the public instructions; check your order’s portal options or ask support.
Will a returned Gymshark exchange be refunded if the portal shows £0?
Yes. Gymshark’s exchange help says an exchange displayed at £0 is refunded at the amount paid on the original order when returned and accepted. The zero shown in the portal isn’t your refund entitlement. Ordinary return conditions still apply; retain your original order details when asking about the amount.
Can I cancel a Gymshark order instead of returning it?
Gymshark gives 15 minutes from placing your order to select Cancel Order in your account or confirmation email. Ordinary amendments aren’t available. After that window, let the order arrive and use the normal return route. This operational limit doesn’t shorten your statutory cancellation right.
How do I contact Gymshark about a return?
Use chat through Gymshark’s Contact Us page or email support@gymshark.com. Have your order number ready; for a missing return refund, include proof of postage and tracking details. Gymshark’s contact help doesn’t list a phone number. Ask support about any Gymshark returns policy condition the public pages leave unresolved.
