Key facts
- Scope: the guide covers orders from whitefoxboutique.co.uk and the White Fox app. White Fox describes itself as online only, so there are no shop returns, and returns cannot be made in the app.
- Two clocks: submit within 14 days of receiving the order, then the parcel must arrive within 14 days of submitting.
- Refund or credit: a refund has £6 deducted for the label; store credit has no label fee, may add 10% on up to three returns per rolling 90 days, and lasts 12 months.
- No exchanges: return the item and reorder. Sale items are returnable under the UK terms.
- Exclusions: lingerie, earrings, Bubble/Bubbles and Foxy Friends items cannot be returned for change of mind. Beauty and swimwear seals must stay intact. Faulty items use a separate email route, with a free return if White Fox accepts the fault.

How Long Do You Have to Return to White Fox UK?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to submit a return, according to White Fox's refunds and returns page and its terms of purchase. White Fox does not say whether those are calendar or business days, whether the day of delivery counts, or what the daily cut-off time is.
Treat them as calendar days counted from the day the parcel arrived: submit within the first week and post the parcel the same day or the next.
When must the parcel reach the warehouse?
The parcel must reach White Fox's Lutterworth warehouse within 14 days of the day you submit the return. Both White Fox pages describe receipt at the warehouse, so a posting receipt or a carrier scan is not the stated deadline.
Keep your proof of postage; White Fox recommends tracked Royal Mail. If a parcel posted in good time arrives late, contact customer care.
Is there a White Fox Christmas returns extension in 2026?
No Christmas returns extension for 2026 was published on White Fox's UK pages as of 29 October 2026. The help centre mentions only slower processing in high-volume and sale periods.
The standard 14 days therefore apply, so a gift bought in early December could fall outside the window by January. Older guides claim a mid-January extension, but White Fox's UK pages do not show one.
White Fox's 14 days vs your legal right to cancel
White Fox's voluntary rule asks for arrival within 14 days of submitting, while the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 set a dispatch rule for shoppers who cancel an online order:
| White Fox policy | UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) | |
|---|---|---|
| Starts | Receipt of the order | Receipt of the goods; for one order in separate parcels, normally the last delivery (regulation 30) |
| Within 14 days | Submit the return, then the parcel must arrive within 14 days | Tell the trader you are cancelling, then send the goods back within 14 days of doing so (regulation 35) |
| Refund deadline | Processing times in the refunds section below | Within 14 days of receiving the goods or of evidence you sent them, whichever is earlier (regulation 34) |
| Outbound delivery | Not specified for ordinary UK returns | Standard delivery is refunded when a whole order is cancelled (regulation 34) |
| Return postage | £6 deducted from refunds; no label fee on credit | Can fall to the customer if the trader told them beforehand (regulation 35) |
The same return could meet the legal dispatch timing and still miss White Fox's arrival timing, so post early, keep your proof and ask customer care how the rule applies if a parcel is disputed. Citizens Advice explains the cooling-off period in plain English for England, and the GOV.UK guide to returns and refunds sets out the general law.
With the clocks clear, the next decision is what you want back: money or credit.
Refund or Store Credit: Which Should You Choose?
A refund costs you £6 and returns money to your original payment method, while store credit has no label fee and may add a 10% bonus but cannot be turned into cash. White Fox says the outcome cannot be changed once the portal return is submitted, so decide first.
| Outcome | Label cost | Bonus | Where the money goes | Validity | Can you change it later? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Refund | £6 deducted | None | Original payment method | Not applicable | No, fixed once submitted |
| Store credit | No label fee (standard route) | 10% if eligible | Account tied to the purchase email | 12 months | No, fixed once submitted |
White Fox bases a refund on the amount you paid after discounts, so a discount code lowers what comes back. The £6 deduction is on the refunds and returns page; the store-credit conditions are in the terms of purchase.
Example: assume a single-item return where £40 is the final amount paid after any discount, the £6 is charged once on that return, and the 10% bonus is available that period. A refund returns £40 − £6 = £34. Store credit returns £40 + £4 bonus = £44, with no label fee.
Credit only makes sense if you will shop with White Fox again within 12 months, because it cannot be cashed out. A shopper weighing a deduction against credit may also want to compare another online-only fashion retailer's terms, such as the PrettyLittleThing returns policy, before ordering.
Is the £6 label charge per item or per parcel?
White Fox does not say whether the £6 applies per item, per order, per label, per parcel or per return submission. It also does not say whether using your own postage avoids the £6, so ask customer care before substituting your own label.
White Fox lists no restocking or admin fee, but it does not say that none applies.
How the 10% store-credit bonus works
White Fox adds 10% to eligible store-credit returns, limited to three returns in any rolling 90 days. After the third, only the item value is credited.
The terms describe the offer as one that can change, so check the credit option at submission rather than assuming the bonus. Returns of purchases paid for with store credit are refunded as credit.
How to Return White Fox Items in the UK
Returning a White Fox item takes six steps, starting in the returns portal linked from White Fox's UK returns page.
- Open the portal or your account. Use the portal linked from the UK refunds and returns page, or sign in to your website account.
- Enter your details. White Fox's route uses the order number and the email address used to buy.
- Choose items, reason and outcome. Select what you are sending back, the reason, and refund or store credit.
- Take the QR code to a Royal Mail Post Office. The post office prints the label from the code.
- Keep the tracking and proof of postage. White Fox recommends tracked delivery.
- Let the parcel travel to Lutterworth. White Fox processes UK returns at its Lutterworth warehouse.
Collection, other carriers, print-at-home labels and combining several orders in one parcel are not published, so use the QR route. Copycat sites appear in search results, so use only whitefoxboutique.co.uk and the portal it links to. For help, use White Fox's contact page.
Returning a guest order
A guest order can be returned with the order number and the purchase email. If you want to spend store credit afterwards, register an account with that same email.
White Fox requires proof of the order and publishes no alternative, such as a bank statement, gift receipt or card lookup, if you have lost the details.
Can you return White Fox items through the app or in a shop?
No to both: White Fox says returns cannot currently be processed in the app, so use the website, and it describes itself as online only. Pop-up or event purchases are not specified.
What Condition Must White Fox Returns Be In?
White Fox returns must be in original condition with tags attached, unworn and unwashed, and free of perfume, make-up and fake tan. Trying an item on is accepted; wearing it is not.
The eligibility page tells you to try swimwear and clothing over your underwear. Its opening sentence describes returnable items as "unsealed", while its beauty and swimwear rules and the terms of purchase require seals and hygiene seals to stay intact. Never break or remove a seal, label or hygiene liner, keep the original packaging, and confirm with customer care before returning a beauty or swimwear item.
If you cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, handling an item more than needed to check it can reduce your refund (regulation 34).
Items White Fox Won't Take Back
White Fox's UK policy excludes several categories from change-of-mind returns, but sale items are not among them. The UK terms expressly include sale items.
- Lingerie and earrings: excluded even if sealed.
- Bubble/Bubbles and Foxy Friends: excluded from ordinary returns.
- Beauty: returnable only with an unopened, untampered seal and packaging.
- Swimwear: returnable only with the hygiene seal intact.
- Keychain packs: need their original packaging.
These are White Fox's voluntary rules. The legal hygiene exception in regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 is narrower: it concerns hygiene-sensitive goods that become unsealed after delivery, so the law does not itself bar returning sealed lingerie or earrings. Faulty-goods rights remain for excluded items. No UK rule on shoe boxes, socks or personalised items is published.
Can You Exchange a White Fox Item?
No: White Fox does not offer direct exchanges. Its exchange page points to returning the item and placing a new order, and a refund is also available.
Choosing store credit avoids the £6 and may add 10%. White Fox does not promise to hold stock, protect the price or give free delivery on the reorder. Shoppers who often swap sizes may compare how another retailer handles reorders, such as the Boohoo return policy. A faulty item is different, because replacement is a separate remedy.
White Fox Refunds: How Long Do They Take?
White Fox says it processes returns within up to 3 business days of the parcel reaching the warehouse, while its terms say it aims for 3–4 business days. Allow 4 business days after arrival at Lutterworth, and longer during sales and high-volume periods.
| Stage | What happens | Official time |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Return window | Submit within 14 days of receipt; parcel arrives within 14 days of submitting | 14 + 14 days |
| 2. White Fox processing | From warehouse receipt | Up to 3 business days (help page) / aims for 3–4 business days (terms); longer in high-volume and sale periods |
| 3. Bank or card posting | After White Fox issues the refund | Not published |
The two official pages word the processing time differently, and neither carries an effective date. Your return confirmation email or customer care gives the status for your own order.
Refunds go to the original payment method, and store credit goes to your account. White Fox does not specify how mixed credit and card payments are split, or how Klarna and payment-plan orders are adjusted.
Store credit rules: 12 months, account-bound, no cash
Store credit lasts 12 months, stays with the account for the purchase email, cannot be transferred and cannot be cashed out.
What a return does to your Loyalty Club points
Under the Loyalty Club terms, a return removes the points and spend it earned. The balance can go negative, and your level can drop. Points used on a voucher are reinstated only when the whole order is returned. Longer return windows or fee waivers by level are not published.
Faulty, Wrong or Misdescribed White Fox Items
For a wrong, faulty or misdescribed item, email info@whitefoxboutique.co.uk with your order number and 2–3 clear photos, rather than using the ordinary return. If White Fox accepts the fault, it provides a free label or covers return postage and refunds you, or you can choose a replacement or store credit, so the £6 does not apply.
The terms of purchase ask you to report a fault promptly and no later than 30 days after the day following delivery. The same terms promise Consumer Rights Act repair or replacement after that. White Fox rejects damage from washing or wear, though a genuine quality fault is a separate legal question.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Faulty goods carry a 30-day short-term right to reject under section 22 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. After that, section 23 allows repair or replacement at the trader's cost, and section 24 allows a price reduction or final rejection if that fails or is unavailable.
On an accepted rejection, section 20 makes the trader pay reasonable return costs and refund within 14 days of agreeing, without a fee. Proof of purchase can include a bank statement or packaging, per GOV.UK, although White Fox's published returns route does not mention them.
This guide explains published rules and cannot decide a disputed fault. See how StoreReturners checks policies against official pages.
White Fox Return Policy Mistakes That Cost You Money
Six slips cost shoppers money on a White Fox return:
- Taking a refund when you would reorder anyway. You lose £6 and a possible 10% bonus.
- Posting on day 14. The parcel must arrive within 14 days of submitting.
- Trying to switch credit to refund later. The outcome is fixed once submitted.
- Sending sealed earrings or lingerie for a change-of-mind refund. White Fox excludes them.
- Trusting 30- or 60-day windows from other sites. The UK pages say 14 days and £6.
- Using an ordinary return for a faulty item. Email first, so the £6 does not apply.
Shoppers who ordered from several online fashion sites should check each retailer's deadline, for example the ASOS returns policy, because each retailer sets its own window.
Questions shoppers ask
Does White Fox offer free returns in the UK?
Only for store credit sent through the standard route. White Fox says store-credit returns carry no label fee, while refunds have £6 deducted for the label. Faulty items accepted by White Fox are returned free, but that is a separate route from change-of-mind returns.
Can I return White Fox items after 30 or 60 days?
Not for change of mind. White Fox allows 14 days to submit and 14 days for the parcel to arrive. Faulty goods are different: the terms ask for reports within 30 days after the day following delivery, and Consumer Rights Act remedies can continue after that.
Can I return a White Fox gift without the order email?
White Fox does not publish a route for that. Its returns process needs the order number and purchase email, and no gift receipt or card lookup is described. Ask the buyer for the order details, or contact customer care before the 14 days run out.
Will White Fox refund my original delivery charge?
White Fox does not specify this for ordinary UK returns. Its general refund wording does not clearly separate outbound delivery from label costs, and the explicit delivery refund passage applies to the EU only. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, cancelling a whole order does include standard delivery, so the legal position is separate.
How are Klarna orders refunded?
White Fox says refunds go back to the original payment method, but it does not publish how Klarna or other payment plans are adjusted or how long that takes. Check your Klarna account after the refund is issued, and ask customer care if the amounts look wrong.
